David McDuffie, is a California transplant and a former VP of an engineering company in Santa Rosa, CA. Mr. McDuffie has over 20 years experience working in different engineering and construction companies.

Isabel Cordero was born and raised in Costa Rica and has over 40 years of experience of the way of life here in Costa Rica.

Together they created Die-Trying.com to talk about the challenges and rewards of living and building in Costa Rica.  They also created CRBuilders.com to be the official web site of Constructora Cordero McDuffie, S.A. and CRPlans.com for discount Architectural services in Costa Rica.  The most recent additions are CostaRica-Corporations.com which sells both types of commonly used corporations in Costa Rica and TheCheckbookIRA.com which explains how to use retirement funds to buy property in Costa Rica or any where else for that matter.
