This is a Building Disaster!

This is a house nearing completion in the Cajon area of Grecia. The dirt wall behind the house is taller than the highest point on the house and is only 2 meters away from the back wall.  Where is all of this dirt going to go when it lets loose? Right through the back windows and wall. I will guarantee that the grass will not stop it.

This is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view overlooking the valley.  To bad it won’t last. The owner insisted on the house being located at the highest point on the property.  Against the advise of his architect, civil engineer and builder he got his wish. I just hope this dirt wall lasts long enough for him to enjoy the house for a short time.  This just shows that you can get by with just about anything in Costa Rica.
